英語小品劇這種形式可能許多老師都會采用，但是如何充分使用它，去發揮學生劇本創作、角色分工、制作道具、團結協作、共同成功演出的能力，我相信并非一朝一夕可以做到，而如何讓學生堅持下去，持之以恒，真正把練習口語當成一種習慣，一種愛好，而對英語學習產生濃厚的興趣，也是需要去研究的學問。

總之，英語教學的終目的是怎樣交給學生科學的學習方法，怎樣引導學生進行自主學習、合作學習、探究學習、體驗性學習，怎樣讓學生真正成為學習的主人。我們力求尋找一些能夠從學生的學習興趣、生活經驗和認識水平出發，使語言學習的過程成為學生形成積極的情感態度、主動思維和大膽實踐、提高跨文化意識和形成自主學習能力的過程。本人愿能通過對這個課題的探索，對初中學生學習英語給予一定的啟迪和幫助。
