The thing that most people are guilty of is asking a question and expecting a specific response. To receive some sort of encouragement, regardless of whether it is an honest response or not.

筆者多年來的學(xué)習(xí)積累，就英語中較為常見的迷信說法總結(jié)如下：

The number thirteen: 西方人13是不吉利的數(shù)字，西方大多數(shù)旅館13號房，許多摩天大樓也13層。迷信與 基督教。在“最后的晚餐”（The Last Supper） 中，猶大第 13位入席的人，后來他背叛耶穌，13就被視為不祥之?dāng)?shù)。直到，人們?nèi)?3個人一起吃飯不吉利，某人會在年內(nèi)死去。

D中的they和their有沒有指代little boys或drawings或stories的可能？這么多復(fù)數(shù)名詞在句子里，難道用they不存在問題嗎？其實，代詞指代對象的問題確實是SAT的一個灰色區(qū)域，不能據(jù)此作為選擇正確答案的唯一依據(jù)。另外，D中的they指代boys明顯錯誤，不可能是“人”被collected的。同樣，指代drawing或stories也是有問題的，不可能是A is collected for A這樣的結(jié)構(gòu)。
