經過教學實踐，我真正體會到，在任務型教學中，教師起著語言習得的促進者、答疑者和向導的作用。教師是從“學”的角度來設計教學內容的，學生的活動具有明確的目標指向，具體的操作要求。在各項活動中，學生的大腦始終處于一種激活狀態，能引起學生的共鳴和興趣，整個學習過程都是積極、主動的，他們獲得的不僅僅是現成的知識點，還有語言運用的能力。而且隨著教學任務的不斷深化，學生語言能力的不斷提高，整個語言學習的過程會越趨自動化和自主化，學生越能創造性地表達自己的思想。同時，我在教學中也發現了不少局限性和需要改進的地方。例如，完成一項大型的學習任務，需要占用大量的課堂時間，從短期效果看，在同等的時間內可以通過其他方式來幫助學生，取得更大的進步。所以教師如何更新觀念，如何合理安排教學進度，如何正確處理能力培養和考試成績的關系，都是值得探討的問題。總之，任務型教學是一個舶來品，其產生和發展有其特定的背景和環境，在我國特定的外語教學條件下，廣大英語教師要結合我國的實際國情、教情、學情，發揮任務型語言教學的優勢，真正提高中學英語的教學質量。
