本題是由as well as構成的并列結構，其前面是形容詞healthy，因此，其后也應該是一個形容詞。答案中只有E選項是形容詞（digestible）。as well as的功能和and一樣，是and的強調形式，側重于強調其后的成分。但要注意，對于both A and B結構，只能用and，如果改成both A as well as B就是錯誤的。可以說She is pretty as well as intelligent，但不能說She is both pretty as well as intelligent。
