I wish you\'d stop trying to butter me up.

butter someone up 意思是常說(shuō)的“阿諛?lè)畛校徒Y(jié)討好”的意思butter本意是指“黃油、奶油”，在漢語(yǔ)中常用某人嘴上像抹了油一樣來(lái)形容人很圓滑，很會(huì)拍馬屁嗎？
