所以，有時候考生不得不臨時對范文進行修修改改，但自己修改的文字和范文的優美文字往往會有很大的出入，這就很容易引起閱卷者的懷疑。

在否定句中只能用can和may。此時can’t用以代替mustn’t，語氣比may not更強。can’t中文可以翻譯為“不可能”、may not中文可以翻譯為“可能不”。

文章的拼寫錯誤很多，全部都是口語化的東西，雖然SAT沒有要求考生把作文寫得像academic essay（學術論文）一樣，但要是一個閱卷者在批閱一份作文時候，感覺像是在聽這個作者面對面地講話，他能給這個作文很高的評價嗎？而且，整個文章的句式死板單調，顯得很稚氣，不像是個即將進入大學學習的中學生的作品。
