動(dòng)詞表示一種動(dòng)態(tài)，新聞標(biāo)題在濃縮新聞內(nèi)容時(shí)，如能恰到好處地用上一個(gè)動(dòng)詞，就能增色不少，給人以形象生動(dòng)、躍然紙上的感覺(jué)。如Attack hits US Financial sector，too．遠(yuǎn)比Attack in US Financial sector，too．具體而達(dá)意。標(biāo)題中用了動(dòng)詞，固然好處不少，但也給我們閱讀英文報(bào)刊增加了一個(gè)困難。

（9）語(yǔ)言和學(xué)科前不用冠詞。如：

【例】The workers opened small businesses in direct competition with their former employer. 工人們開(kāi)辦了小型公司直接和他們以前的雇主競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。

(1)吃透課堂上的知識(shí)；(2)博采眾長(zhǎng)，雖然雅思考試有針對(duì)性，但是英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)不同的資料本身是相通的，因此可以關(guān)注國(guó)內(nèi)外雜志，特別是像國(guó)家地理，BBC，VOA等雜志新聞刊物，一方面針對(duì)考試，因?yàn)檠潘奸喿x里很多科普類，環(huán)境類的文章都出自像國(guó)家地理這類雜志；另一方面，可以進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大你的詞匯量，不同句型的理解，新的表達(dá)方式，以及你的知識(shí)面。
