1.詞匯編碼，提前記憶

　　There are two big swimming pools here.

　　這兒有兩個大型游泳池。

第二段，講“我”上社會課，要去詢問老人所經歷過的改變（we had an assignmentto interview an older person about the changes he or she had witnessed）。

這個常數叫做等差序列的公差（common difference），

one of結構做主語，謂語動詞應該用單數，所以首先排除A、B和C。

【分析】

從句意上看，“當某人拿起電話，他或她就是在使用現代最偉大的發明之一”。

這些詞相對比較大了，屬于big words ，但在句子中使用得恰到好處，所以并沒有炫耀詞匯量之嫌。這也證明了，用詞不在于大小，關鍵是用在句子里是否恰當。
